Next step is to transfer it to canvas. I got some graphite papers, so I no longer need to cover the back of the drawing with graphite pencil. |

| After transferring I usually work on the background. I generally do a very blurred background with little detail. I think in this way over the years I have been able to focus my attention on learning to bring my main subject life. I feel that I have successfully reached that goal. In coming work, I plan to give a greater focus to the background details, and actually give my subjects an envoirnment to live in... |

Most of what you see in the next images are what I am calling the base. Expect to see a transformation as the work progresses. |
